The Main Bar

We’ve worked hard to preserve the history of this great listed building. Nowhere is this more prevalent than the Main Bar.

We call ourselves a wine bar and have the wine list to prove it, however, we are so much more.

From cosy nooks to read your books, window seats perfect for people watching, or in the colder months next to one of our cosy fires we have tables to suit different party sizes and needs

We serve food daily, from our affordable 2 meals for £20 offer to our special dishes and our ever-popular Sunday Roast.

Our menus are varied and inclusive, changed seasonally to ensure we make the very best dishes from our locally sourced produce.

Whatever the occasion a table from 2 to 12 people can be booked in our Main Bar if you are thinking bigger please see our Back Bar where we can cater for up to 60 diners.

We always welcome walk ins but if, like many you have a favourite table just ask us to reserve it for you.
